So I’ve touched down on English soil.
After a horrendous 3-hour first-time student queue and two nights of not sleeping – one due to the alcohol-fuelled last night in Singers and the other due to the fact that I can’t sleep on planes – my nice cosy room is very much appreciated.
I spent my first day in London snapping pictures while on a long walk along the South Bank. Having an SE1 address and the Thames at my doorstep has proven nothing less than fanastic.
In the meantime, as all conversations here begin with a charming question about the weather, one must say it’s been nice and sunny so far, but by mid-afternoon it always looks like it might pour.
